Array ( [sid] => 24083 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Today I Saw A Rainbow* [time] => 2003-09-29 17:35:00 [hometext] => I wrote this poem while sitting one evening watching the many gatherings. Pay tribute and homage to all those who lost their lives on that dreadful day. 11-September-2001. Once again, my personal feelings of what I witnessed. Such a beautiful Rainbow..Glo [bodytext] => Today I saw a Rainbow, so beautiful and kind,
This Rainbow was like no other, not like most have in mind.
This loving sight I'm speaking of was not outdoors you see..........
It was inside my house, I was watching it on t.v.

Let me go on further, it's not hard to explain.....
This beautiful sight was brought about by much heartache and pain.
Beause of this Radiant Rainbow shining so bright..........................
We are sure to rise again.

The Colors of every Ethnic Group, Race, Gender and Creed..........
Showing that we can all come together in this sorrowful time of need.
Their were Jews, Catholics, Protestants, Baptists, Methodist, Muslims and Greek Orthodox too................
That's what makes America so Great, "Hail the Red, White and Blue!"

Even though we're all different, we're all the same inside.
What a Glorious Rainbow to see, standing side by side.
If you could have seen it,
You to will be filled with pride.

Although our loved ones..........some think of them as gone,
It's because of them we must carry on.
Stamp out all the hatred in this troubled land,
Just like that "Special Rainbow"........"United We Shall Stand."

No one knows what tomorrow will bring,
Say a prayer each and every night.
Remember there is "Someone" who sits high and looks low.
He knows our heart, our soul and mind.
Sombody bigger than you and I.

May This Rainbow Shine Forever!

Glo I could see your beauteous rainbow....
the most beautiful I've ever viewed.
Your poem was very touching and heartfelt.
My reads numbered two, and each time I read it the rainbow shined through.
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful gift with each and everyone of us!
