Array ( [sid] => 24056 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => 11-September-2001.... In Remembrance* [time] => 2003-09-29 06:05:00 [hometext] => A few days following this sad tragedy, I was sitting at work still glued to my radio. This is my personal feelings of that very sad day of 11-September-2001......Glo! [bodytext] => Who would have thought that on this day, and ordinary day?
That mass destruction would take so many loved ones away?
It was just another morning, I was looking forward to Autumn..........the beautiful, colorful foliage ever so near.
Then all at once our lives were changed, history was made this year.

Never ever again to be the same..........
Lives were taken from thousands of others.
Husbands, Wives, Fathers, Mothers, Sons, Daughters, Sisters and Brothers.
My heart goes out to all of you.
I too feel your pain, knowing that so many lives will never be the same.

Please take comfort in knowing they're really not gone.
They leave behind their Spirits, so we can carry on.
Carry on the struggle agains hatered in this world...................
Make it a safer place for every boy and girl.
For they are tomorrow, encourage them, help them to understand,
That there is strength in numbers, and "United We Shall Stand!"

No matter what the Race, Religion, or Creed,
We are all Americans in this devastating time of need.
In Remembrance take "Old Glory" and wave it, wave it high.........
Paying homage to those that have perished,
But know this, that the Spirit.......it will never die.

You've shed your tears, and I've shed mine,
Now let's prepare to fight........
We must maintain our Freedom,
We owe it to all the lives we've lost.
We must remain "United" no matter what the cost.
Prepare for what may be the fight of our lives,
To take what went so very wrong...........now let's go and make it right.

A Day to Reflect Upon and To Remember!
