You brought on my assault.

All your lies
I believed every single one
How can I make you visualize
All the damage you've done?

All those times I stuck up for you
I didn't realise you weren't doing the same for me
You just quietly withdrew
And left me to be the one to plea.

I was the one left to take the punch
Which was really your fight
So angrily I say thanks a bunch

It was all your fault

So much anger and pain put in to such beautiful and soulful words. It makes my heart break when it take this kind of pain to create such a great poem. Peace be with you always in your journeys.

Emma...I just came across this poem, after reading your one about your best friend and whether you should let her back into your life...now I definately say no. Anyone who could do this to you is not worth your time. I am so sorry that you had to go through this with her...it is very sad when a "friend" feels compelled to break that friendship for whatever reason. You are a very beautiful and kind hearted person...don't let her get the best of you.
