Array ( [sid] => 23084 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Mother & Daughter [time] => 2003-09-11 19:05:00 [hometext] => I dedicate this to my mom since its coming up on the anniversary of her death, through the years I miss her more! [bodytext] => It seems to me the years that past,
are just hours in the day,
time never really does last,
it slowly fades away,
Every year that goes by,
that you are gone more,
I can't help but still cry,
I hate walking out the door,
Theres not a day that goes by me,
that you are'nt thought of,
If only your face I could see,
I'd thank the God above,
Missing you comes with the days,
I think of your caring voice,
sometimes so,I'm left in a daze,
but life to me leaves me a choice,
I need to go on,to live my life,
with out you by my side,
for I'm a mom too and a wife,
I no longer have you to help guide,
I still do cry,but in my room,
where no one can see,
your death leaves me in such gloom,
Its taking over me!
I still talk to you as though youre here,
trying to see a simple sign,
I feel you close & know your near,
it helps to ease my mind.
Every year I miss you more,
It never gets easy for me,
I wish it could be like before,
the way a mother & daughter should be!

Oh how sad, but how wonderful of a memorial to your dear Mom!
Why is it so hard to tell our Mom's goodbye?
Even my mother who was so brutal I can't think about it without a good cry....but she was my Mom....the only one I ever had. Good or bad!
Is it because they were our role models?
They taught us everything we knew....
It's so hard to accept them being gone....
But mine was suffering terribly, and I wanted to see her go to sleep...so she could just rest..without pain, even though I knew I would weep!
You were such a loving daughter, I remember your last poem..how very loving, and kind.
Our mother's worked so hard and so long,
now it's time for them to rest even though we have to say "so long!"
Your Mom would be so proud of you....I didn't know her, but I'm a Mom too. Remember it doesn't end here!
Thank you for sharing her with those far and near!

I wish I could tell you it will get easier, but I do not believe that. Hang in there though for she is always with you because of the love in your heart

Chrissy-
This is beautiful along with the other ones you wrote. Mom would of loved to hear them. You always have me, for your mother figure, for I am like mom, which you will be also, cause that is the way she raised us. I miss her soooo, and you are not the only one.But she has made us strong, and shown us so much. And what you didnt learn from her, I will teach you, for she taught me, since I am older than you... Keep up the wonderful poems, Im sure she hears them and visit you offen... Much love always, your sister, Monika
