[hometext] => It is so beautiful to witness the glorious one * * * [bodytext] => The Sun rises in the morning embodying his brilliance. From Him shining in the glory of Para Brahman I know the Lord of all who is beyond ignorance and darkness and whose splendor is comparable to that of the Sun Knowing him thus in this life itself, one transcends death. There is no other path leading to the attainment of liberation. The Sun who is the Lord of creatures moves about in the space between heaven and earth causing day and night although He is unborn, being the self of all, He manifests Himself as manifold universe, He is the supreme soul of the universe. Salutation to the resplendent Sun God! He is the son of the highest Lord, the Para Brahman, who shines for the benefit of all gods. Who is invoked as the beneficent leader of the gods and Who was born as the eldest among the gods. When the gods instituted the knowledge of Supreme Self they declared thus teaching about the supreme reality;- That sage who knows the Supreme as described before will have sovereignty over all gods, for he has become the inmost self of all. O Sun, Hri (consciousness) and Sri (existence) are thy consorts. Thou art the creator, protector and destroyer of al beings. Day and night are thy two sides. Asterisms in the sky are thine own forms. The Asvins that breath the whole universe are thy mouth.
