[hometext] => On reading the works in My Mentor Mr Poe for the upteenth time, I felt it were time for another emulation!
Enjoy ;) [bodytext] => Once upon a tale of woe, when caught amidst the drifting snow I sought some shelter of a place, with burning fire, food and rest. when stumbled across was a woman most haggard whom ambled along most crooked and staggered, help her I did , back to dark modest home where I asked i may stay 'till the end of the storm So stay there I did and most grateful I was, until curious peculiar held attention at source ‘twas then that I noticed that the room had no view with no windows to speak of, was most dark and subdued. Right away did I fluster, straight away felt distraught, As she slammed down the locks, and bolted the door! Aloud came the cackling, with the air turning green As I tried best to run, falling short to my knees Now for sure she had drugged me, now for certain to die As I passed from the room into cold eerie night. All at once, my eyes opened, for a second pondered death Only to wake in my bedroom with a most aching head. “Just a dream!” I implored thee, “nothing more!” did I jest, till’ I looked down to see, she had severed, my head.
