It can really happen.. [bodytext] => Noah built an ark of wood,
he had the floods to blame,
When Norm, the poet, understood,
He thought he'd do the same.

Have you noticed they're alike
Our Noah and our Norm,
Four letter names no rarity
Letter one and two the same.

Behind our unit is a lake
Four hundred feet in length,
On this lake we'd like to make
an ark, the length, a tenth.

Twenty cubits, end to end
and seven cubits wide,
With plenty room for us to bend
and exercize our bike.

You think we're nuts and surely late,
Then you don't know the facts,
The icebergs melt at greater rate
Will change the way one acts.

The Atlantic Ocean just may meet
The Gulf of Mexico,
The State of Florida may become
Atlantis, down below.

Sea level in my neighbohood
Cannot be very high
Six foot higher water sure would
cause us all to die.

Those that think we're daft,'nough said
Ignore what you have read,
Come with us if you agree
And miss the floods instead.

If it really happens you'll be ready
On the waves keep it steady.
But sail down to the mediteranean sea
Before the water takes the best of me.

Dear Norm, or Noah, whomever
I can't swim and so, whether
it rains water or snot....I can't swim, but will slip around alot!..They laughed at Noah, and said, "Hey Oh, Boy, what is rain?" He just kept building and building and didn't refrain!
Then the rain came, and they wanted in his boat....he didn't gloat....he just told them to float!.
So my dear friend listen not, build your boat!
And when the waters get really high.
I'm up more than a mile....*I'll wave at you and Polo as you pass by!
Wow Norm, you out did yourself this time.
I loved your poem..your piano teacher would love it too....perfect timing....did you use your "1.2.2?
