I was blind.
My eyes had been trained to be so.
I was lost.
My soul had been mixed with the flow.
I was sad.
My heart had no place to go.
I was dead.
My body had felt its final blow.
Have you ever seen darkness?
Have you ever seen confusion?
Have you ever seen tears?
Have you ever seen death?
Through the black of a cave
A lantern was glowing bright.
The journey through the dark
Brought me closer to the light.
The stillness of the sorrow
Was broken by the crack
Of the strong sound of the sparkle
That finally brought me back.
And always in the distance
Beyond the brazen land I see
You'll always shine the sparkle
That forever calls to me.
