[bodytext] => Embers burst from the campfires’ flame. And like fireflies’ flutter away. Their light is extinguished upon the wind. Never meaning for too long to stay. Once a part of the fire, That warmed me body and soul. And gave me comfort and peace inside, Which made this half man feel whole. You became that ember. With my eyes fixed you drifted away. Your light disappeared into darkness. You never intended to stay. The fire in my heart now a memory. What’s left is burnt ground and stale smoke. A noose round my neck would be easy. For your fake love does now make me choke.
