I wish there were words for the way that I feel
I would weave them until true love did reveal
I love you more than anything
For all the care and joy you bring
You're all that I've got left to hold onto
Now that I'm here, no one else will ever do
I'm so sorry you never knew how I felt
Or that every time you touch me, my heart melts
I don't know how to make it show
'Cause it runs so deep I overflow
You've become more to me than I ever dreamed
And I realized it all as my tears streamed
You've taught me about life
Cut me deeper than a knife
You've taught me about myself
Hurt more than the gash itself
And I need this
I need the heart wrenching near miss
And I need you
I need you to fix my crooked view
It's you that makes me strong, you that makes me whole
And I love you completely, body and soul
I believe we can get through this
'Cause there are moments of pure bliss
And in each other's eyes we're both so unique
I hope with you I can still break down and be weak
Your soul is so beautiful that it moves me
My heart is set free from this old lock and key
You always look out for me
What's best for me, protecting me
And now that we've done this and now that I've cried
You finally know how I feel deep inside
You've scared me half to death
You've helped me take a breath
I've taken so much from you
Your every word misconstrued
Every fallen tear
That you've ever made disappear
Every hurt you've cured
Makes every ounce of love secured
And we're so secure
This is so for sure
Through my smiling tear-filled eyes, I can see
The beautiful twilight where we'll be...
