to scratch the itch
I feel when I close my eyes.
Yet, sex is second or maybe tenth
on my list of things to do.

Cause a kiss could dull the ache,
an embrace would let me sleep,
and love, love could set me free.
Free from the negative
thoughts I think and words I say.
A smiling face at the end of my day.

That would make me smile,
at least for a little while.
Till I'm alone again
staring back at myself,
alone,
within.

I don't intend to offend anyone but I think it's more an expression of my hurt and anger than a jab at women in general. It doesn't have to be taken so literally. And lastly that's the way it came out, it's how I feel....
