if i died today
or ran away
would anybody mourn my leaving?
after i said goodbye
would you let out a big sigh
and pretend not to notice my absence?
if i hopped on a train
would you feel pain
and start to realize my seat was empty?
if after i left i forgot you excisted
would you think i was twisted
and then remember how you forgot me?
if i was shot down
would you too hit the ground
and regret not taking the time to get to know me?
if you never saw me again
would you wish we had been best friends
then get to thinking and see, it was you who didn't try, not me....
