I never meant to hurt you
you just made it so easy
and I don't know why
I do the things I do
but it's over now
your heart ripped successfully from your chest
the pain will soon subside
the numbness will set it
you were simple prey
an animal already licking it's wounds
I'm sure I left a scar
somewhere deep inside
with my serrated knife
someone new will come along
when your bruises are all but healed
but I marked you
she won't mean the same
forever, you'll be mine
