[bodytext] => Daddy, Please Love Me

You come home late
You’re drunk again
I know what happens next
Let the fun begin

I ignore your harsh words
And the racket that you make
I pretend not to care
While my hands begin to shake
You wish I were a little boy
Instead I am the girl from hell
I already hurt myself enough by piercing my own skin
So I don’t need you to pierce my heart as well

I’m sorry that I can’t be your little boy
I’m a little girl instead
Please don’t say those harsh things daddy
Don’t say that I’m better off dead

All I want is for you to love me
Is that too much to ask?
I’m sorry that I don’t make you happy
Especially after the beer you had last

Daddy don’t hit me
I didn’t mean to talk back
Daddy please love me
That’s all that I ask.
