A gallant young knight, the man of my dreams, enter my mind.

The mere sight of him stirred deep within me a primal need
As he galloped towards me upon a milky white steed;

The most captivatingly handsome man I'd ever seen
He was covered in a full suit of blazing brigandine.

Every single scale of his armor seemed to be on fire
Which burned as strongly and as steadily as my desire.

The look in his royal blue eyes as they gazed upon me
Was mysterious and enticing like the deep blue sea.

The sun's gentle rays turned his hair into silky gold strands
And I just could not help but to run through it with my hands.

As my knight in shining armor embraced me for a kiss
His soft caress aroused me from my peaceful dreamworld bliss.

Turning over slowly I did open my eyes to find
Those same gorgeous sapphire eyes looking intently in mine.

Though his golden hair was disheveled slightly out of place
The same wantonly look of desire was upon his face.

The only thing better then the man of my dreams would be
Waking in the morning light to him in Reality.

Oh so sweet poem. Very easy to picture this on Yvonne. I hope you do awaken to find him one day.

Thank you for the compliment Lovewriter. I wrote this for my husband about 2 years ago.

I wanted to let him know he is the man I have always dreamed about.

But what is even better then "dreaming" about him...is actually waking up to him every morning.

Thank you for your comment.

Yvonne
