[hometext] => This arose out of contemplation that took an awry turn; I call it a 'projection poem'. Not that suicide is foreign subject matter to me; a saying of mine is, "if someone has never wanted to kill themself, they're probably not worth my time." More dark art, poetry and humor is available on my website.
[bodytext] => For every battle there was a purpose And for every purpose there was a dream And the walls stopped whispering before I went in their rooms And the birds I never noticed must have flown by normally For every tear that I shed back then, over nothing, Something left me when it bled into the ground For every person that died someone mourned, someone lied But that was before the world burned down. Now I make my first unchained decision And defy everyone that helped me grow Now I burn all my bridges and say all my apologies As an effigy alight in a remote bank of snow Now I fall from my place just one cloud below grace Like a soaring eagle crashing into the sea I now join what I lost in unifying oblivion, And restore to the world Bitter Tranquility.
