How do you make me laugh
when I most feel like crying?
My heart is full of love for you
My soul is slowly dying.
I want a future with you
I have since way back when
But you are unable to commit to me
My lovethis needs to end
There is a road block up ahead
One you dont want to miss
Your fantasy means more than me
Youd rather have your tryst
its somewhere in the future
Not today or tomorrow
But it will one day be reality
From Time I cannot borrow
You make me smile - I feel so cherished
When Im wrapped tightly in your arms
As you look deep into my eyes
I fall victim to your charms
Youve taught me to love myself
And to give my heart away
I need to take it back from you now
And let you have your way
You fulfilled my wishes
You were my dream come true
My happily ever after
Was not meant to be with you
We gave it all we had
Your slipper of glass just doesnt fit
I will surely miss your smile
Your amazing eyes, your wit
I want the castle, the fairytale
The white horsethe romance
My dreams are too precious to me
To leave it up to chance
SO good luck and farewell
I will hold you close inside
And with a tear and a smile
My love.I say goodbye.

Beautiful poem!! Being torn with such feelings and emotions is always very difficult to do, but saying goodbye when you don't want to in your heart is the worst! Love this poem!!

This was so beautifully said. My heart goes out to you. I know how difficult it is to say goodbye to someone you love... its not an easy task. I wish you luck in whatever shall happen.
