[hometext] =>
[bodytext] => i walk along the edge of sky
and tap my toes on stones
i love whats caught now in my eye
the dirt on dirty bones
see, Ive always liked the dirty side
of life.. and beauty too
i paint what i once tried to hide
cause its my duty to
the darkest pain black oil stain
contained by canvas blue
see the spirals mindful strain
reflecting back in you
a skull for head but body strong
grips a flowers stem
the petals pain does not belong
to you, to me.. or him
the swirling red moves heavy lead
thick blood throughout the vein
in madness its hot soup instead
like sticking pitchforks in my brain
now its time to fade...

Ooh, I really like the sort of tune this write dances to!
I/'/ll consider you a joyful spiritual sibling by virtue of the common gaiety of our gait :)
You also reminded me of something my own that I wrote a few years back- though with different intent, because of the jumping from one visual image to another. What a nice pleasure in juxtaposing them. |

This is a KILLER piece of writing. I like the complexity, the content and tone. It left me rocking back a bit to find firm purchase.
It shines.

I don’t even feel worthy to read this old friend ..!
How the Hell are you, Dwayne? 😏
I know you didn’t just drop this utterly fantastic piece of Napalm on ypdc after 12 years and end it with ‘now it’s time to fade...’ 🤔😒
I don’t think so pal! I feel like Oliver Twist saying ‘more please!’
Professional level writing my friend. Keep it up.
Great to see you back. Hope you’re well.
