interesting declaration, based upon art.
I went to a Pink Floyd concert in 1974,
it was my first concert and there were
wires everywhere, and large sounds,
and my first cigarette was actually
a joint that some older girl put into
my mouth.
And all/'/s I remember,
all/'/s, I remember was looking
down upon that gray stage where
the band played.
And I do remember later
on in the winter, when I could
close my eyes and hear
the sound, as though it
was being piped into my head.
The brain is like this.
Sometimes I wish I could
hold onto this, and stick it
to a wall, flat, two-dimensional.
That is what I thought.
So I did.
Peace!

As a poet it takes great skill to sugarcoat a serious
truth in order to aid in the aid in the ingestion of said
truth. We live and breathe vicariously through the
youthfulness that surrounds us, whether its through
our own children or those of others.
