Oh Death, come graceful
Carrying love in your arms
No matter the time

we sat while the rosary was said many times
that boy sat motionless
that girl cried, in a way
uncontrollably
And death came and
there was still more
that was missing
from afar,
something we all shared
for evermore

This is so true, what you wrote.
If we could know this, the gold
in all our frustrations,
or in any sacrifice.

Love, and the inevitability
of death, that surrounds
us all!

Very moving and poignant, particularly for me right now.
I/'/ve always hoped that when the time comes, I will slip peacefully into sleep and pass into the next life as but a small ripple on a big ocean.
