I hold your hand
but this sensation you do not know
I touch you on the shoulder
because I still love you so

I live this life beyond
from your world I have gone away
You see right through me
I see your tears every single day

I walk by your side
trying to give you a sign that I am here
I want you to be happy
I wish I could wipe away each and every single tear

We had a love like no other
best friends on a common ground
I know you think about me
through every sight and sound

Please don’t be so sad
don’t mourn my going away
Try to find happiness again
as you know I wouldn’t want it any other way

Our love was for a time
we made the most of it all
Then came that day
when the heavens made my call

Our love will always be
death cannot take that away
I will be waiting for you here
and watch over you every single day

My sister and I lost our Dad 8 and a half months ago at the age of 62. Reading this was a great comfort; like he/'/s telling us he/'/s ok.

It was beautiful. Great write.

If our loved ones could speak, this is what it would sound like. When we cry for lost loved ones, we are crying for ourselves, and while it is necessary to mourn, it is a comfort to feel that we are still somehow connected.
Very reassuring, with a gentle cadence and by a sincere hand long dedicated to comforting others. A treasure.

It/'/s a very heartwarming piece.
I/'/ve always thought that if I pass before my wife it would be nice to still watch over her even though she would not know I was there.
Made me smile a contented smile

Steve
