To the point that you know not who
In your soul still resides

Just like the ocean/'/s tide

Caught in circumstances you can/'/t seem to mend
A depressing journey that has no apparent end
No friends

I can feel the emotional torture in your words
I know that place too
where you are trapped on your island paradise
by Ill trade winds...

You squeeze out all the emotions of this poem
Over the readers head.
Deep and oozing with a lonely helplessness.
Powerful.

Powerful and compelling James. So vivid and descriptive that I started worrying about you!
Makes me wonder how many others experience life in a similar way.
We tend to avoid sad people, but in truth, they are the ones that need us most.
