so
you can go die
a tender situation
is now filled with conflicts
and a pending termination

we were riding loves train
from station to station
now we commute to battlefields
filled with emotional violations

I can not believe
how you attack and make me bleed
you stick the blade in
your words cut deep

still I tried to find something that is now gone
on what was once a beautiful landscape
but you kept coming at me
with maddening deceptions
oh what a waste

I can not hear you any more
do not care what you say
we are at war now
I only wish to return the pain

with wounds that will never heal
and lack of communication
this well never again be
a tender situation

The bitterness, regret and remembrance is all there.
This subject is related to by many. Good description.

Have any of us not been to this place you describe so well? At war indeed.
You beg the question..shall we stay and fight, or shall one of us leave?
Many would rather stay in a bad relationship than mourn alone. --But you have not made that decision for us. Instead you pose an unfinished story and leave us to mull it over. What would we do?
A thinking man/'/s poet writes here, and we welcome your eloquent invitation to use the little grey cells.
