Great write Heathen :)

I don/'/t want you to fly my friend. Robins always perch on the top rail of an old fence in a farm field.
They puff out their chest with pride and lay their wings aside and later they drop their head and doze off to a calmer place. They are content with their lives.

Be at peace with yourself and find contentment and rejoice in who you are and what you are. Trials and tribulations will always come your way but you have the strength to see them through and being aware of changes you may need to address is half the battle.

So only fly when you want to soar.... You need not escape to be happy.

I enjoyed this and your PM.
All the best to you.
Jim

Robins, the masters of ceremony for spring!
So frail, like us, yet they fly!
This is a wonderful write that rolls off the tongue like a song. And the last line hits home. I love a powerful ending!
Well done, and most enjoyable to re-read for inspiration!

Poem wrapped in silken words
and delivered in suede lines.
Beautiful.
