I heard she wrote some great poems
They said she had a unique style all of her own
She wrote of happiness and despair
It was as if you were really there
At night I would lie in my bed and read her poems aloud
Only she could remove the darkness from the clouds
She wrote of history and mystery
Those traces of words took me places I/'/ve never been
Her words went right through me
As if she spoke right to me
She brought about emotions so intense I wanted to hide
Until those feelings did subside
Although once a stranger to me
Later a friend to be

James...your dedicated poem put a lump in my throat. You have surprized, thrilled and honored me all at once. My ears are red!
If I never write another poem, you have gifted me the best of awards: the personal tribute of a fellow poet. Thank you so much, you rascal you!

Fitting, accurate, and kind.

James, I find in you an exceptional man...a shame we probably won/'/t meet. I/'/m actually a 13 year old sheep herder from a remote region of Uzbekistan. But, tovarishch, I say probably with good reason. I have been hired to be as a janitor at the opened to be soon Soylent Green factory in the Bronx, USA. I know not what is to be doing there or what is they make. Best part? Meals are included. Amerika! What a country, yes?

James, youre words could not be more correct. I have come to consider Jaye a great friend as well. She is one of my favorite poets here..I dont get around here as much as i want to and visit other poets as often as i should but your tribute as i said before could not be a more perfect description of a great person and fellow poet.
