Be forgiven for our crimes.
Color once outside the lines.

Face a day without disguise.
See belief in someone’s eyes.

Dry sheets in a summer breeze;
Have God bless us when we sneeze.

Be the light in someone’s dark
Find the scar wont leave a mark.

Take the locks off all our doors.
Be content with nothing more.

Know a neighbor by their name.
Cry with friends and know no shame.

See the end before we start.
Love enough to break our hearts.

Not remember our mistakes.
Dream while we are wide awake.

Have more blessings than we cuss;
Take the puppy home with us.

Find our sneakers full of sand.
Jump rope just because we can.

Fall alseep in someones arms;
Do more good than we do harm.

Have a blanket when were cold.
Always have a hand to hold.

Sit beside the firelight.
Have you there to kiss goodnight.

a wonderful read to kick off my day. And the last line, that turns the whole perspective 180 degrees - masterful.

That is sheer contentment.
I must confess you sealed the deal with the puppy. You can fill a bucket a teaspoon at a time.
Splendid write!!!!!

Splendid read from beginning to end and you flow was spot on. Another piece that does not disappoint.
I think that everyone can relate and say that your words describe the way that we all hope the world to be. Great Job my friend
