You want to leave this world
because you can’t take the pain
You allow the words of others
to drive you madly insane

Not knowing which way to turn
voices grow louder in your head
They scream louder than your conscience
telling you, you’re better off dead

You cry from inside
and you cry out to the world in which you live
You tell yourself it isn’t so
but if asked, your hand you would give

The demons take you over
you feel as if you can no longer catch your breath
Your world is crashing in
and the answer to you is only death

So caught up in misguided thought
not giving you a chance to think clear
You think of taking your life away
without any sense of fear

Life can be very bad
having times that we truly hate
To change your thoughts of dying
gives you a chance to change your fate

Take a deep breath
try to think in a positive way
Don’t take that unforgiving step
I beg of you with these words I say
