Don/'/t know why but this reminds me of the aftermath of a house fire. Concrete blanket, steel mattress..the imagery.
How desolate a picture that all that remains are faded plastic flowers.
The gift you bestow between the lines is that we are life; we are reality; and absent of our humanity, all that remains are decayed and unmade leftovers of things we built.
It is a reminder most subtle to cherish lifeforms and not objects. Better to have a new friend than a new cellphone! Better to cherish living things than the tools we built to sustain us. Better to shed a tear than to feel nothing at all. softerware
