Rabid dog unleashed
Pure terror unsheathed
Continuous playback
On a fragmented reel,
On an uneven keel

//I am.//
Confidence shattered
Fight or flight scattered
Violently seized again
Overcome with thoughts of fear
Triggered by Yesteryear

//I am.//
Retching from remorse
Old nightmares enforced
Losing battles again
Still too young and too scared
My psyche ill-prepared

//I am.//
Exhausted. Sleepless.
Permanent bleakness
Anxious, yet vigilant
You will never be free
//I am P.T.S.D.//

Highly imaginative the way you captured the internal madness one can feel in their moments of chaos. Descriptive, bold and raw in your face writing. Great job

I can sympathize with this mindset as I/'/m coming out of this myself. You recognize it and that/'/s the most important step at getting past it. This was a great poem however it also reflects sadness and anxiety but it is a honest write as well as a poem that can comfort others going through similar issues in their lives.
Brilliant poem.

James

Except for the young reference, I feel I could have written something similar. Obviously not in your unique Scorperiffic style though.

I can only admire your resilience and fortitude and applaud from the sidelines.
To say I know what you are going through would be a lie, to say I understand a little more about what you are going through would be fair......having been given the insight here.
Keep strong

Steve
