i close my eyes to watch the stream of numbers
always moving faster, never are they slowing
active in my waking moments, and in my slumbers

every evolution has a specific system
there is always a beginning, a middle, and an end
an engine working is a design of rod and piston
while the mind is purposed for receive and send

formulas for time progression cannot be universal
what is constant in one spectrum may not match another
a sister congression may be backwards or transversal
while quite the opposite may be seen for her little brother

decoding unknown principles may come to cause unraveling
leading to seismic events in the space around us
to our eventual interstellar planetary travelling
on some means of cosmic conduit or bus

whatever the case may be of our own future explorations
whatever conclusions we draw from the finding of a fact
we need to compile our data, and enter declarations
to let it be known how time and the universe react...

the iterations of change
just one change in the number
a new need uncovered perhaps
inconvenient it may seem to be

the big
A little less
significant

The extreme
A little less
movement

tick tock
tick tock

Time
poof

but never
never

like a clock

I loved the way you penned this
hyray 42!

Peace!

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
