Is told by what we see;
What we cant envision;
Seldom comes to be.

The truth of where were headed;
depends on what we cherish;
That which we desire most;
Becomes the dream we nourish.

The crooked path to get there;
It written by our fears;
The thorns of childhood travels;
That whisper in our ears.

Safe within our castle walls;
Possessions to refine us:
Store bought proof of pedigree;
So useless to define us.

The truth of who we are takes time;
And years of rearranging;
We outgrow things and people;
And blame the world for changing.

This siren call will never end;
Though stone walls may surround you;
The hearts an endless seeker;
Until your truth has found you. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 176 [topic] => 19 [informant] => softerware [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => InspirationalPoems )

Brilliant content. I/'/m glad you share your wisdom with us. You remind me that poetry is not a sheer indulgence exercise, but an opportunity to learn the most important things about existence; how to be a wise and correctly centered human being.

Never will, darling, never will. However deep you go, your own truth will negate the real truth.
