[hometext] => Nature has her own eraser.
[bodytext] => Tiny bird running alongside the tide;
Thundering ocean and no where to hide.
Deafening waves, beating the shore;
Feather light sparrow dance to the score;
Death in the balance, ebb and retreat;
Fragile wings rise ore the foam at her feet.
Dancing as lovers afraid to embrace;
Borne of a moment, and left not a trace.

I/'/m not a beach goer but I have seen this many times just as you have described it. How you pluck these bits of time out of the air and set them to rhymes overwhelms me with respect for your talent. I have no envy in my soul but only appreciation and admiration. This was lovely.

/'/Dancing as lovers afraid to embrace/'/ - what a perfect description of the back-and-forth of birds and waves on the shoreline. Overall, a spot on observation of the interaction.

That author/'/s note! Ain/'/t it the truth!
Mankind, the sixth extinction.
Beautiful poem. I was also waiting for the sparrow to be eaten by a seagull.
