as you are saying you love me
as I lay on the bed
fading
but remembering how it use to be,
there was no way I could have known
you were pretending
and
that soon you would be gone.

Trying to manage my depression
as I am slowly losing control
when I felt the rope loosen
I knew I missed my window,
so now I meditate and self medicate
while the emotional torture that is you
keeps causing me pain.

I feel like the hulk
all I want to do is smash things
how could I have been so blind
not to see what was happening,
the script has been flipped
I now have thoughts of chasing
feels like I am at camp crystal lake
and I am Jason.

It is gonna take me time
to get over you
still got these memories
of the things that we use to do,
as passions fade a way I pull out a crucifix
every time I get weak
and
I think of kissing your lips.

I can now afford the luxury of exposing everything
last rites have been given
can you hear the church bells ring?
I am coming to you live
from my funeral
I am already dead
and you can not hurt me anymore. [comments] => 5 [counter] => 273 [topic] => 52 [informant] => unknown_utopia [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => goodbyepoetry )

The rage of betrayal and loss lighting the fire of self destruction with only forgiveness to pour water on the flames. Took me Seven years to learn that pearl of wisdom. Honesty straight from the heart, powerful write.

to love someone and lose them is heartbreak in and of itself, for a
betrayal right before their death, unfathomable! beautifully expressed!

hugs n love nessa
