Oh, Plodding heart of mine,
at times I regret your work ethic.
Ceaseless decades,
a wonder you still pound in robust sound
through so many slings and arrows.

Beat...beat,
no release from your hero club,
(I know I/'/m not in it).

Some days I say,
“Friend, take a rest,
if only for four minutes”. [comments] => 7 [counter] => 229 [topic] => 48 [informant] => Invierno [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

I/'/m glad that your heart doesn/'/t share your world weariness.

Though of course, we can all relate to times such as these.

Thanks for read :)

The heart is a relentless soldier whose mission is to march on, heedless of our bidding, or his own pain.
And sometimes to our dismay he carries us kicking and screaming into the next day.
I must send a thank you note.

Dearest Boet

All bark no bite. I thank God for that honest reassurance.
You know me, you talk of the physical and I see the emotional. Simple yet deep and beautiful message. Of "That/'/s Life" in want to interpret this as follows. Throughout our days on this God given earth there are good and bad time. We always except the good yet need immense motivation to take the bad, and somehow we get it right and say next time we will take that four minute rest, but deep down in the pits of our sloe we know if we do its over. So we never take it and never give up. Thank you for reminding us of how strong in fact God actually created us. God bless you and all our friends here Boet. Loving good wishes as well. Awesome to read you.

PS: I must mail you and tell you how awesome my life is getting.

Greetings
Gery
