Array ( [sid] => 182504 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Blinded [time] => 2016-02-01 15:36:31 [hometext] => A simple song about the good times and being greatful for experiencing love even if it doesn/'/t end perfectly. [bodytext] => The wind whistled by our faces
I could see it in your hair
The ocean roaring to the right of us
but all we did was stare
at the stars and point out shapes
holding hands and laughing hard
waiting for the heat to kick in
moon roof down inside my car

You were wearing a white top
a plaid shirt, my Hurley hat
I was hoping when I said those words
that you//'//d say them back
That smirk you did that made me shake
The way you twirled your sea-salt hair
If I could freeze a moment
I//'//d still be sitting there

Blinded
I was in your sights
Torn to pieces by your heart
on that Thursday night
You were sent from above and I was blinded by your love

I remember waiting for your text
when I worked on Sunday morning
and sneaking kisses in the warehouse
when work was too boring
Shark week and peanut butter M&M//'//s
Harley Quinn and Pokemon
Paddiddle and Mixed cds
I want it back again

Blinded
I was in your sights
Torn to pieces by your heart
on that Thursday night
You were sent from above and I was blinded by your love

You showed me love
You showed me the world
I will never forget you
You showed me loss
You showed me the world
I will never forget you
I hope you have everything you want
I hope you have everything you need
It took a long time to recognize
just what you did for me.

Blinded
I was in your sights
Torn to pieces by your heart
on that Thursday night

Nice post,
yes it could be a song,
however, it is a bit long
songs are short and sweet
try to make this one complete.

I know it is hard to write all those wonderful
things into a shorter version.
Sometimes summarizing
is the right diversion
