Give me a second
You can wait
Heaven

The knees I were given
I had replaced
So give me time
Before my
Ultimate date

My house repossessed
Nothing
Can replace
My happiness

My car stolen
Childhood dreams shattered
But I hold dear
What really
Matters

Thanks grandpa
For telling me this
It's on my every day
Bucket list

While good times fade
And disasters pass
I won today

Grandpas are pretty shrewd. This old world has a habit of shooting some hurtful arrows our way, and we gotta deal with it. Being on 'the right side of the grass' is they best place for that. Top write.

Very well wrote!
In todays world everything has changed.
One minute you're on top of the world and the next you're out on the street. I let that thought make me get up and move even when the odds are stacked against me.
