Array ( [sid] => 18188 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Forget [time] => 2003-05-29 04:05:00 [hometext] => I cried for hours over this poem because it's about forgetting all the little things you love about someone after it's all over. [bodytext] => Forget his name, forget his face
Forget his kiss and warm embrace
Forget the times you were together
Remember now, he's gone forever
Forget you cried the whole night long
Forget him when they play your song
Forget the way he used to talk
Forget you memorized his walk
Forget the way he held your hand
Forget the sweet things if you can
Forget the way he loved you too
Remember now, there's someone new
Forget the time, it went so fast
Remember now, it's in the past
Forget the things you planned to do
Remember now, she loves him too
Forget the thrill when he walks by
Forget the times he made you cry
Forget he said "I'll leave you never"

Hey I know that poem!!! That was published in Youthink ages ago. I loved that poem to bits! I cut it out and kept it, and took it out and read it any time a relationship ended coz it made me feel better and helped me through it. You changed it a little, but that's the poem. Interesting...

Ugh...I know! I was going through a reallly hard time when I first read this poem, and it didn't really help, but I guess it helped me cry some of it out. Lol. My friend showed me a couple of different versions of the poem and this one part didn't really make sense, so I cut it out.

This poem made me realize a lot of things, it was written so well. I've been in that position, and it made me think of my past relationships.
Very good poem.

I remember it when I was in school we passed it around that was in 1983. It was unknown author then. It is a great poem. Kimmie_mac
