it's cold and dark
from a distance you can hear thunder
you can hear the rain drop hard on the pavement

Like gray clouds on a stormy night
i feel lost and scared
I am confused on what is happening
I think to myself if i should play in the rain
Kids are laughing and having fun
but i sit here and wish i could as well

Like gray clouds on a stormy night
the house and windows shake
all i can hear is the wind from outside
i want to hide under my blanket
i don't like the noise from outside
what is it??
my mother tells me Its thunder darling
its like Gray clouds on a stormy night
