I find life so funny
one must appoach
a remonstration on tippy-toes;
God (if you forgive at all) please
forgive my broach-
Angels stop the harp!
I've called someone to carpet-
if my advice is sound and benefit they
by it-
then damn me in this new society;
my mind and voice bereft.

Your broach? As in wearing a woman's fashion accessory? In the sense of disappointing by not being the man God wants you to be?
Also, had to look up remonstration, and have to say it's a good word.
Something about "angels stop the harp!" Sounds humorous. I don't know if that's a bad thing if this poem has anything to do with your life, by category, but it's something along the likes unheard. It's something that sounds like a "time out!" I guess that's why it's so.

hard to talk in edgewise
to say what you mean to say
to understand and assist
without seemingly feeling
like you put your foot in your mouth

Who the heck am I to judge
sayeth I

When I never meant to judge
with what I said

yet still I feel vexed silently
to myself

never attempting to actually win
anything for thyself
except the love of another

Peace!

I have often second guessed myself even knowing that the words had to be said and no one else would say them.
Hopefully, the angels aren't always tuned in to my channel!
God isn't going to judge me, I'm certain..He is going to say "You're LATE!"
And I will thoroughly enjoy being the counseled instead of the uncertain sage!
