[hometext] => I was priveledged to witness the birth of a child today, and I am completely blown away. Rebekka Celeste a beautiful, healthy baby girl was born 26/05/03 at 7:17 pm. Her beautiful mother, 16 year old Mykala bestowed on me the honour of being Rebekka Celeste's Godfather. Mykala is a street kid I have worked with for the past eighteen months. Both mother and daughter are doing sooooo well. So is a proud 1st time godfather. [bodytext] => I deal a lot with tragedy But today untold joy bestowed on me I witnessed the birth of a baby girl And stared in awe as she entered this world. Mykala asked if I would be Godfather to her child to be No greater honour could I know Than to share this child as pure as snow. Throughout the birthing hours of pain As Mykala toiled I smoked my brain Then after fourteen hours long A tiny cry, a new life song. And so a journey has begun For this tiny child of a child so young And for what ever ahead may lay Love will guide her night and day.
