hatred spilling, over all the land
I am so sick of people despising one another
instead of giving each other a helping hand

We all are human beings
why can’t we all just get along
No matter what religion we are
together, let’s just sing a peaceful song

No tolerance for hatred and killing
no more room in prisons or any jail
You would think the human race would learn
but seemingly all we do is fail

On a path to self destruction
there are no righteous, we are all very guilty
It’s time to clean up our act
in this world full of hatred and spite, which is also very filthy

Color should not be a problem
it should not matter if we are red, yellow, black, or white
We need to see each other as people
having no need, with each other to kill or fight

I am just a poet
wanting to share my views with all of you
This is no ice bucket challenge
but to stop all the hatred, should be a challenge we all can do

Let’s fix this world in which we live
before it is entirely too late
We all as humans have the power and ability
to change what will be our very uncertain fate

Beautiful and very true, I agree with you, a colour blind world would be a beautiful place indeed. It's the beauty inside we should all look for. You may "just" be a poet sharing your views but the world needs to hears more of us speak out and stand together.

Hi there

WoW this is so true. I truly hope your message gets out there. We humans are so self centred. Peace seems like such a far fetched dream in this day and age. However we should never not for one moment stop striving towards it. Great write. God bless

Greetings
Rus
