And folded it into shape
What story would it tell?
And what picture would it paint?

Would it note the peaks and valleys
And everything in between?
What images would it conjure up?
What paintings would we see?

I am not a rocket scientist
You can see this on my face
But I am very certain
We all are human race

And when you feel alone
And if all has run amuck
Imagine millions unraveling napkins
And every one clearing up

And if you prefer not to be a napkin
But rather a bar of soap
What would we see when opened up
With no lies or jokes?

It must contain hurdles and obstacles
Jumped over and gone through
But even if bruised, broken, or battered
It cleans up too, just like you [comments] => 6 [counter] => 168 [topic] => 21 [informant] => Beyfoxman5 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems )

cool finish on this one. I like the overall concept. I'll thank you here for your comments on my poems, and also to let you know I will be cracking yours open when I see them.

This poem has potential. It is very good now- I think with some spit and polish you can turn it into a great one.

Best,

Invierno

improving and cleaning up the world one napkin at a time! lol,
what a concept! this poem brought a huge smile to my face and
warmed my heart- if only soap and napkin folding in unison would
truly make a better world... i will never look at my napkins the same
way again- now they signify possible world peace, a very creative
and clever piece:)

hugs n' love nessa

I like where you're going with this one...You give a concept that easily trails into endless introspective thoughts.

Thank you for always posting, commenting, and trying new things.

Keep it up.

You certainly allow the reader freedom of passage. Trying to fuse the human race together? Well, you've done that so effortlessly, with just a napkin and a bar of soap. You know, every time I unwrap a bar of soap of fold a napkin, I'm gonna remember your poem. Cleverly powerful.
