You-The taming of the shrew.
Shrewdly dissecting my life
Life. It cuts deep like a knife

Knives that separate flesh from bone
Bonehead move; I'm accident prone
Prone to attack and to reject-
Reject the jester then direct

Direct the king to glance my way
Wayward behaviours made him stray
Strayed emotions not laid to rest-
Resting peacefully on your chest

Chest of troves the words you spoke
Spoken with words to evoke
Evoke a pang in my heart
Heart exploding from your dart

Darting from your dogged attempt
Attempts to hold me in contempt
Contemptuous verbs misdirect
Misdirecting this reconnect

Reconnect your heart to mine
Mine is yours, it's on the line
Lines were drawn in bardic tongue
Tongues suppressed below your rung

Wrung your bell, though frail from fight
Fighting darkness from the light
Light the way, please let me in
Inside your heart- where I've been.

This is part of the reasons why I have dubbed thee Scorperrific & Scorpendous!!! I love what you did there with the words ending and beginning lines. Lines that are really cool. Cool that this poem is with greatness. Great be the Scorpendous One!

Love certainly can be a pain in the ol' ass! Hearts do disconnect and unfortunately, sometimes. the connection is never made again or is never the same. :( I could feel the emotion.

Thank you for an enjoyable yet painful read. Definitely poetry in action.

I like the way one word leads to another in your poem. When you publish your book let me know, you are a very talented poet.
