None will admit they're ashamed

They'll deny all of their doubt

That they'll lose at their own game

And as for right now

They won't respond to that name

…there is no way to win

When all hope is lost

Fake smiles all around

No matter what the cost

They don't want to let you down

All the evidence is tossed

And the reactions are rewound

…there is no way to win

When you're hiding all alone

And the shadows become you

Trying to make it on your own

But you never follow through

And there is no home-sweet-home

Because you can't make room for two

…there is no way to win

And maybe you'll open your eyes

Reality can be true again

You've just got to realize

That nothing ends till it begins

And as this comes to much surprise

It'll get under your skin

…there is no way to win

When nobody seems to want you

No matter where you go

And when they actually do

You don't even know

All the things you've been through

That you don't let show

…there is no way to win

And now you finally find love

And life finally makes sense

He's all you can think of

But something shows offense

And it fits just like a glove

But you just can't take the chance

''Trying to make it on your own

And there is no home-sweet-home
Because you can't make room for two''

a beautifully written heartfelt poem,
