I took a walk in the snow
It was so peaceful, so quiet
it made me think of my childhood, many years ago

Every day I get older
but in my mind forever young I will be
That’s why I take these walks
and soak in everything I see

The snow was falling
so ever lightly from the sky
This is a wonderful sight
it makes me so happy, I will not deny

Stopping for a few moments
laying back into the snow
Making photo’s with my camera
capturing these moments before they go

Listening to the distant sounds
of snow trucks and the chains as they clank
Such a peaceful and relaxing moment
as I lie here in this snow bank

Looking into the distance
seeing faded lights through the falling snow
Snow is starting to cover me
and my cheeks are starting to glow

Walking in a snowstorm
dress warm so you won’t be cold
Cherish moments like this
we are all inevitably growing old

When the snowflakes fall upon your face
and the winter scene becomes warm to your heart
Your mind will be clear
and the short walk will be wonderful right from the start

Nothing like a winter stroll to brighten your soul.
