Array ( [sid] => 177323 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Think about it [time] => 2013-12-13 03:18:17 [hometext] => This poem is about how I feel like everything has already been said, how what ever I have to say has already been thought about, every metaphor used, every saying analyzed and how hard it is to feel original in this world if you really think about it. [bodytext] => I found that art,
It rimed with heart,
And I thought I was smart,
Because the art,
It comes from the heart,
But it ain´t like I´m the first,
What if all my thoughts have already been thought,
What if all my dreams have already been dreamed,
Then what´s originality,
Dumb minds copy,
Smart minds get inspired,
But where is the line,
When do you copy the one you´ve admired,
What to think and what to do,
And what´s so great about being number two,
I feel like all the things I wanna say they´ve already been said,
I feel like I will never be ahead,
Thousands of years with writing and philosophizing,
How can my mind ever seem enticing,
All these years,
Who cares?
How meaningless I must be,
I know, I see. [comments] => 1 [counter] => 85 [topic] => 73 [informant] => Helenesovig [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => abstract )

Ah, the pondering of a poet. I have had the same thoughts. I have thought that nothing is original and that probably at least one person in this world has duplicated my thoughts and others' thoughts / ideas.

However, your mind is enticing though and that does mean something because you made this person smile and think today because I can relate well to this. Also, since you made one person smile and think, you, as well, will make others smile and think. Perhaps that is not original. Who knows? But is definitely meaningful.

Nice writing.

Thank you,

Tim
