How dare you interfere in a love so profound
No, not perfect in the slightest bit
But it was mine to choose to make it fit

Do you have any idea what you have done
Do you care or was this all for fun
To intercede without a thought to the outcome
Makes you reckless, heartless, and evil, yourself you have outdone

A love so perfect but not perfect in the least
What side was this perceived loyalty that you think you released
Mine or his makes no difference at all as turmoil all around has been unleashed
Left in its wake lays minimal hope and faith indelibly decreased

To my love, the only one I ever saw as the savior in my life
Not once have you considered my strife
Your actions slice through me like a warrior’s knife
It goes though me with accuracy and ease
Which has cause me to drop down on my knees

Your words and actions have made my heart bleed black
A red healthy flow I fear will never come back
As I question all that has been promised and spoken
I fear they were nothing more than a carnival token

I gave myself freely to you I admit
Even without your willingness to commit
Stupid me… a lesson learned
Never again will I release my heart unearned

There are two strangers in my life
the one unknown I can forget
the one who loves me has caused the most upset
