and it washed away
all the problems that I thought I had
and all the people seemed to
hide under their umbrellas
but not me for I was dancing
in the midst of falling droplets
moving so fast that
steam came of my hair
creating new raindrops up high
falling on my face again
were they mixed with my own sweat
and became tasteful and salty
just like the water from the sea
and I realized that if I just followed
all the water I would hear the sea
so I longed to meet the sea to tell her
all the problems that I thought I had
screaming to her aided by the wind
and I stopped dancing and became sad
by remembering this weight on my soul
tears flowed down my cheek
but I did not notice them
because the rain washed them away
faster than I could produce them
so that for the first time in my life
I could cry without anyone noticing
and I felt liberated by this notion
so I cried even more
and when I was done I shook of
all the tears from my face
and for a moment I looked just like
a wet dog and I was happy again [comments] => 3 [counter] => 287 [topic] => 54 [informant] => saesori [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => happypoetry )

Very interesting write.
I suppose for you the rain was soul cleansing.
I've never really looked at it that way before but in the future maybe I will!!
