Monsters at night Ghosts in old homes Children growing into people unknown Under the grid Below the surface Crawl the vermin through the halls Heads snap from left to right The movement of life Self-Inscribed A name with no face to match A face with no shame to clasp on to Eyes with eyes A gaze falls to dust Stare at the sidewalk Shadows creep up From within the crack of broken windows Voice whimsically pass an ear Conversation about converting From a realist to a protagonist One with an agenda To hide away in imagination Frequently pleasuring himself through Master of manipulation Spin the facts From false to fiction A clear distinction Exists The dichotomy of mistaken and worthless
