Cringing, trying to silence the cry
Wiping doesn't remove the trace
Only tears know the reason why

Heartbreak again or soul enhanced
Did life present another dark blow
Or could it be a love chanced
Time will reveal the way this goes

Torrents flood an aching soul's quest
Tear dust is etched there ever deeper
Begging won't allow a mind to rest
As you sink upward climbing steeper

Be it so lucky that love's the star
Tear dust blends within the clear sky
Fresh laughter rings out near and far
Tears of love are the quickest to dry

Each day waves as yesterday departs
Unknown what path it will choose
Tear dust holds off as a new day starts
Toss of a coin whether win or lose

Magic lies deep creating all tear dust
The key is believing from their start
Life is tethered to our love's trust

The rhyming beat was good as well as the topic. What impressed me the most is how you were able to use powerful methaphors when keeping a rhyming flow. Methaphors use is limited in rhyming poem, unlike free verse, but you found a way to express yourself well though rhyming and methaphors.
